While the planet is still recovering from the mass petrification, Senku and the Kingdom of Science embark on their most ambitious journey yet. Dr. STONE Final Season Part 2 premieres on July 10, 2025, with a global release on Crunchyroll. The platform has streamed the series since its first season.

In addition, a special pre-screening event was held in Japan in May. It featured Episode 13 and a recap of Part 1 in theaters. Meanwhile, in the U.S., Anime Expo 2025 will host a global premiere on July 5, with voice actors Yusuke Kobayashi (Senku) and Kenji Nojima (Dr. Xeno) in attendance.

Plot: Journey to South America

The second part of the final season adapts the Science Future arc, also called Truth of the Petrification. It covers the events that take Senku and his team to the epicenter of the petrification: the Amazon Rainforest.

Thus, the group sails aboard the Perseus, crossing the ocean to follow the signal that started the catastrophe. They hope to find scientific explanations, rare materials like platinum, and clues about the mysterious Why-man.

However, the mission won’t be easy. The team must face extreme natural threats, solve technological puzzles, and make ethical choices. Therefore, they will need to decide who should or shouldn’t be revived.

Ryusui, Chrome, Kohaku, Xeno and others prepare for the final journey in Dr. STONE Final Season Part 2.

This new season keeps the series’ production quality consistent. TMS Entertainment continues to handle the animation, known for reliable manga adaptations.
